The action-packed thriller TV series Quantico, starring Priyanka Chopra as Alex Parish, has completed the midseason finale. Quantico series taken a hiatus after the last episode titled ODENVY and will only return to TV screens on January 23, 2017.
Sad news for fans and with a touch of disappointment, Quantico will be shunted out of regular Sunday schedule and Conviction has taken its place. The move is significant considering the slump in TRP for the Quantico in the recent past with only 3 million total live viewers, as reported in The Hollywood Reporter. Instead, Quantico will be aired on Mondays at 10 pm on ABC.
Alex Parish, the FBI agent, worked out her way to find out the terrorist operatives behind the G20 summit attack in the New York city. An unsuspecting person wearing a mask was seen sided with terrorists in the midseason finale.
Just when the romance in the Quantico peaking when Alex accepted Ryan proposal, then twist in the tale manifests hen Ryan is part of the Citizen's Liberation Front and locks Alex inside.
Showrunner, Josh Safran, hinted that Ryan life will full of twists in the earlier episode when Ryan's sister Nimah revealed as terrorist and Raina, become a hostage. He further states that new episodes start portraying the other side of the AIC recruits-Ryan, Leon, and Dayana. And the 3 terrorists would collaborate together to give new startling revelations in the plot.
"We always knew we were doing to do this. This has always been part of the plan since Day 1. It wasn't a twist for twist's sake," said Quantico head, hinting a bumpy ride ahead in the show, as per IBTimes.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Priyanka Chopra said that Alex is a sincere, honest and dedicated modern day woman, who lives on her own terms and never apologetic in her life. Chopra also confessed that she personally likes a happy ending in the story and she hoped the same between Alex and Ryan. Stay tuned with us for more updates!
