Adam Levine, Blake Shelton feuding after the country singer’s contestant bagged 'The Voice' crown

The Voice coaches Adam Levine and Blake Shelton are one of the two senior judges in the singing competition and have managed to work well professionally despite tension and competition on set. However, this year's win for the country singer may end that friendship as the two reportedly threw shade at each other behind the camera.

Levine and Shelton are reportedly feuding after the country singer Sundance Head, under team Blake, bagged this year's prize. Though Billy Gilman, under team Adam, may have been a crowd favorite but unfortunately, he did not make it to get this year's win.

The result of the NBC singing competition is said to have caused a rift between the two coaches. According to Radar Online, there was an exchange of sour words to each other with the country singer calling Adam 'a sore loser.' The Maroon 5 crooner, on other hand, does not want to be called a loser considering that he has a good record of having contestants in his team getting the crown since the start of the show in 2011.

The two have also been in tensed competition since their two contestants made it to the final rounds. And without the public knowing it, Blake and Adam shared some 'serious backstage animosity.'  The feud also heated up as the county crooner gets 'obnoxious' as he flaunts his win to other coaches.

Though the feud was never confirmed, there have been a subtle social media spat between the two coaches.  Inquisitr cited an Instagram exchange when the Sugar hit maker posted a scathing message to Shelton saying that he wanted to 'punch' him so hard. The post is thought to be made in good humor as Adam posted the message alongside Blake's nerdy old picture.

Gwen Stefani, joined in defense to her boyfriend, Blake with more curse words coming, calling Adam 'dumb.'

Meanwhile, a new trailer for season 12 of The Voice showed coaches Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and Alicia Keys together with Gwen Stefani getting rowdy while all of them where housed together.

Season 12 marks the return of Stefani which had become a hot topic in a press conference on Monday this week, People reported.

During the conference, Adam Levine poked fun at Blake Shelton saying that the latter is really excited for his girlfriend's return.
