"Wireless is the future" - These lines by Tim Cook justified the removal of headphone jack from the current - gen iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

Apple announced four pairs of wireless earphones at this year's Apple event and after months of delay, we finally have the truly wireless earphones - Apple AirPods, reports The Verge.

We already had information on their functionality and what they were capable of - they would pair easily, have sensors that knew when you are wearing them and when you are not. And now that they are available in the market, we finally get to see that Apple has created a revolutionary device.

The pairing experience is seamless even for the first time use. Just open the case, press "Connect" and voila the AirPods are paired with all you iOS devices including the Apple Watch. Just insert the AirPods into your ears and a subtle sound lets you know that they are ready to use.

When you take out only a single AirPod from an ear, the music is paused, put it back in and the music will resume, reports Re/code. Apple has done a great work and you will really feel the experience after using them for a while. The battery status can be checked just by opening the case next to your iPhone.

The AirPods are designed in such a way that they remain in your ears even when you are doing some light work or exercise. The lack of cables has helped them to achieve this. Siri also works like a charm with the new AirPods as the beam-forming mic is now really close to your mouth eliminating any background noise. Apple Music and the music collection stored in Apple's music app can also be controlled by Siri, reports Macworld. Anyone who purchases the AirPods will be astonished by their performance and the ease to use them.

The $159 price is justified as the experience is just nothing like others. Apple has created a perfect wireless earphone - great usability, excellent battery life, good sound - everything in a small package.
