LG launched its latest flagship smartphone for 2016 few months back with top-notch specification, but even it was not spared by the famous "Bootloop" issue that made its way into previous LG phones. LG has been known to have a serious issue with their previous smartphones going into random reboots. However, the issue was resolved by LG stating that the issue was hardware related and the company provided repairs.

This time, LG has encountered similar issue with their latest flagship smartphone, LG V20. The smartphone is said to run into bootloops because of a faulty and non-genuine USB Type-C cable as told by LG in an official statement, reports GSMARENA. However, a Reddit user with the name of Nathan K who is very familiar with testing USB Type-C peripherals writes that "A third-party USB-C cable is very unlikely to cause this unless exceptional situations arose". However, LG's statement on this matter tells a completely different story.

An article along with a video was posted on Kangang, an internet community which showed LG V20 in an infinite bootloop, reports NDTV. However, there have not been many cases that are reported for this same issue so it may be possible that only a handful of smartphones might be affected by this issue. The bootloop issue causes the smartphones to boot into recovery mode instead of going into normal mode hence making the device unusable.

LG had recently launched its flagship smartphone for 2016, LG V20, and it has started encountering problems. The phone was launched with two screens, two cameras and four DAC's making it an audiophile's dream phone. But the bootloop issue has crippled the phone similar to other phones from LG like the famous LG G4.

Let's hope that the Korean company finds a solution to this bootloop problem which has incapacitated the reputation of the company in the eyes of the consumers.
