Azure Striker Gunvolt's Anime OVA's winter release date may be delayed, a bit

Azure Striker Gunvolt's anime OVA may not be released this year as it was previously announced to be out during the Winter of 2016.
This, however, should not cause immense sadness among fans as Inti Creates will release it on January 2017. Still part of the winter season though, but a bit late than what has been promised.
Inti Creates did not specify the reason for the delay but only refer to them as caused by 'various circumstances,' Siliconera reported. Still, the January release still can qualify for their promised Winter release.
In its January release, North America, Europe, and Japan are the top three markets for Gunvolt with the release of their products in Nintendo 3DS eShop. More specific release dates will be announced in the coming weeks.
Months ago, the Japanese anime game released a trailer that gives fans a sneak peek on the characters of the game. The trailer, however, did not elaborate on its instructions, power boots, cheats if there are any.
But, it includes the staff behind the making of the anime. Anime News Network provided a list which includes the following: Director/Storyboards/Producer Yoshinori Odaka who is also involved in the anime games B-Daman CrossFire, Cross Fight B-Daman eS. The script is written by Shigeru Murakoshi (Garo the Animation, Garo: Crimson Moon)
The character design/animation supervisor is Masakazu Sunagawa (Nōgyō Musume!, Maken-Ki! Battling Venus), the action animation director/key animator is Kōdai Kawase (Flowers of Evil, Blade & Soul key animation), props/mecha design is done by Ryūta Nakahara (Shin Getter Robo vs. Neo Getter Robo, Robot Girls Z).
The director of photography is Polunt Sai with LandQ Studios involved in the filming. Other people involved are background art director: Kenichi Kurata (Kimi ga Nozomu Eien, Knights of Sidonia: Battle for Planet Nine), Kanna Terabun (Battle Girls - Time Paradox, Ozma, Robot Girls Z) is involved in the color design of the anime. In-Between checks are Mikie Matsuyama (Oreshura, Oreimo 2).
Its background art is made possible through Baku Production.
Azure Striker Gunvolt's anime OVA release also comes with the release of another Inti Creates game using the Nintendo platform, the Azure Striker Gunvolt 3DS. The game is a 2D side-scrolling game which aims to give players a fresh experience of the anime's powers, agility and speed in busting enemies.
