'The Sims 5' will get new exciting features according to some rumours spread around in the internet. The world has grown to know the Virtual Reality term especially in gaming, now that technology is said to grace the loved life simulator that is 'The Sims'. Alongside the immersive 360 experience featured in the game.

Mobilenapps states that The VR Tech will put the players in their characters shoes. With the characters itself being made by them along with the houses, environment they built, and to see it all through the eyes of the characters thanks to the first person perspective experience put by the VR will extremely make 'The Sims 5' the 'Sims' game the fans always dreamed of.

This VR tech will certainly put 'The Sims' franchise back to the top according to gamenguide. It's latest installment seems doesn't deliver enough for critics and players alike, it's mixed reviews simply didn't live up to the expectation. Hopefully with this new tech, it can be the ultimate boost 'The Sims' franchise need.

Being the developer of the game, Maxis and its parent company Electronic Arts have their standard set for the tech to be included in their next game. According to University Herald, the VR will be put into 'The Sims 5' if they reached their quota for 'The Sims 4'. Patience is a virtue though, with the gaming industry is a tight race with developers keep spawning up new games and new features almost everyday, VR tech on 'The Sims 5' is quite likely to be one of those things its fans need to wait.

There hasn't been an official launch date from EA and Maxis on the project. By the report from Neurogadget, Maxis keep producing DLC's to keep it loyal fans satisfied. But with the rumours already on the mouths of every enthusiastic fans, EA and Maxis certainly need to keep their word.  There is though, a pattern from Maxis everytime they launched a 'The Sims' game. Fans knew it as the 5-year cycle. With the first game launched at 2000, the second at 2004, the third at 2009, and the most recent is the fourth at 2014. If this pattern is followed, then 'The Sims 5' supposed to hit the stores at 2019. But neurogadget again said that we likely get the games at the fourth quarter of 2017
