'The Lost City of Z', a much awaited movie under the banner of Amazon studios and Bleecker street is set to release world wide on April 21, 2017. The movie is based on the true life story of Percy Fawcett, a British explorer. Charlie Hunnam, the Raleigh Becket of Pacific Rim, depicts the role of Percy Fawcett in 'The Lost City of Z'.

The 54th New York Film Festival has premiered 'The Lost City of Z' on October 16, 2017. According to Collider, Chris Cabin has full praise for director James Gray after watching the preview of the movie in the film festival. For Chris, 'The Lost City of Z' felt like a deeply human and an adventurous tale with discovery and excitement.

Before the world wide release of 'The Lost City of Z' on April 21, 2017, the movie will be released in New York and Los Angeles on April 14. The handsome hunk of Hollywood, Brad Pitt along with Dede Gardner and Antony Katagas comprise the producer team of the movie.

The movie, 'The Lost City Of Z' is based on the 2009 non-fiction book of the same title by David Grann. According to The Playlist, the movie is all about the adventure which, Percy Fawcett faces when he goes deep into the Amazon's to find out a long lost city and its civilization. The plot of 'The Lost City of Z' is set in 1920. In 1925, Percy Fawcett goes missing and that case is still a mystery. Robert Pattison, the 'Twilight' Vampire Edward Cullen, is handling the role of Percy's fellow traveler Henry Costin. The 2016 Spider-Man, Tom Holland is handling the role of Percy Fawcett's son and Sienne Miller portrays the role of his wife.
