This Wednesday, SpaceX, an American aeroscope manufacturer released a new teaser image of its Falcon Heavy Rocket claiming that it's the world's most powerful rocket.

The company anticipated a launch date of 2017 for the spacecraft. The image posted on the official Instagram account of SpaceX shows the rocket sitting in the factory.

The caption reads that "Falcon Heavy interstage being prepped at the rocket factory. When FH flies next year, it will be the most powerful operational rocket in the world by a factor of two."

SpaceX writes that, when Falcon Heavy rocket lifts off in 2017, it will be the most powerful operational rocket in the world by a factor of two.

Falcon Heavy have the ability to lift over 54 metric tons (119,000 lbs) into orbit, which is equivalent to 737 jetliners loaded with passengers, crew, luggage and fuel. This rocket is designed to carry humans into space and it restores the possibility of flying missions with a crew to the Moon or Mars.

Falcon Heavy have a lift capacity of more than twice the payload at one-third price of the next closest operational vehicle Delta IV Heavy. But it is still not at the top of the list because Saturn V moon rocket flown in 1973, delivered more payload to orbit than Falcon Heavy.

Initially, Falcon Heavy's launch was scheduled for 2016 which is later postponed to 2017 due to the explosion of a Falcon 9 in September. Till now, the launching date is not fixed. NASA is also expected to launch its own heavy-lift rocket into space in late 2018.

Falcon Heavy will be the most capable rocket with more than 5 million pounds of thrust at lift-off. Everyone is waiting for the launch date of SpaceX's Falcon Heavy Rocket which they claim to be the most powerful operational rocket.
