It was one of the unforgettable moments for all Spice Girls fans. Even though the band has no plans of reuniting soon, the recent mini reunion was enough to keep the fans happy.

Victoria Beckham has gifted the world, one of the best gifts this New Year after joining hands with Mel C to perform one of the popular Spice Girls classics, "2 become 1."

Even though Posh Spice, had earlier mentioned there won't be a reunion, she had recently reunited with one of the closest band members, Mel C. The mini reunion of the two ex band member happened at Victoria and husband, David's New Year celebration party, in the Maldives.

According to The Huffington Post, Posh took to the stage in her usual style joined by her former band mate, Mel C and it took the entire crowd by surprise. The duo was spotted performing on their track, 2 become 1. It seemed they have left the GEM debacle in the past. A good move, indeed!

Interestingly, the power couple, Beckhams had booked Mel C to perform at their Maldives party held at the Amilla Fushi resort. The Beckhams had been staying there throughout the festive season.

Earlier, both the Spice Girls, Mel C and Victoria Beckham had rubbished rumors of reuniting with other band members, Emma Bunton, Geri Horner and Mel B. But with the recent performance gig, the fans might as well expect a reunion.

According to The Entertainment Weekly, the two ladies looked all smiles as they performed. Mel C also took to Instagram to share her feelings, "Candle light and soul forever ... A wonderful start to 2017 xxx."

Well, it might also so happen that Victoria was too much under the influence of wine so as to say. It might also happen that she became nostalgic or so. The fans can simply make their own assumptions, but this was the best 2017 gift the Spice Girls fans could receive.
