The final sequel of the Expendables franchise, 'The Expendables 4' is expected to release in 2018. 'The Expendables 4' will be the last chance for the fans to watch Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham and Arnold Schwarzenegger fight together with their criminals for the deadly missions on the silver screen. Sylvester Stallone, the Barney Ross of The Expendables, announced the news of the filming of 'The Expendables 4' through Facebook.
Several rumors revolving around 'The Expendables 4' has been heard since the 'The Expendables 3' was released two years back. Many rumors about the cast was even reported. It was rumored that Manny Pacquio is trying to be a part of the movie and Sylvester Stallone is not going to be acting in the sequel. Even there are rumors of Vin Diesel to be part of 'The Expendables 4'
As per the reports from Comicbook, 'The Expendables 4' is a $100 million budget movie. Sylvester Stallone's contribution is much more than an actor in 'The Expendables' franchisee as a director to the first sequel, producer of the whole project and with his valuable insight into the script.
It is reported in The Hollywood Reporter that, in the German box office the first three sequels of 'The Expendables' could earn only $ 30 million altogether. All the other sequels of 'The Expendables' other than 'The Expendables 3' were R-rated. Sylvester Stallone even commented that as a wrong calculation from his part, as the movie didn't perform well.
Of all the sequels 'The Expendables 2' earned much revenue with its over hype of the cast. 'The Expendables 4' is expected to be an R-rated movie. 'The Expendables 4' will not be the end of the franchise altogether, as there is a rumor for 'The Expendables' to have a TV series.
The director of 'The Expendables 4' is not confirmed yet. The expected cast of 'The Expendables 4' will be Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Harrison Ford, Terry Crews, Bruce Willis, Randy Couture, Dolph Lundgren, Chuck Norris and Wesley Snipes. And ofcourse, if we are lucky we could see Vin Diesel in 'The Expendables 4'.
