Consumer Electronics Show 2017 is about to commence on Thursday and many products to launch are bursting on the Internet. The upcoming Dell 2-in-1 Laptop is one of them. Dell is about to launch the new version of XPS 13 that is 2-in-1 at CES 2017.
After an official confirmation from Dell, it is said that Dell is about to launch the new 2-in-1 XPS 13, however, no specs were declared. Dell is planning to unveil the XPS 13 and its clamshell-based sibling XPS 15 both of which will have InfinityEdge Display. Presume a less bezel design as the upcoming laptop will have more of display and less of the body for stunning display and appearance.
According to the Laptop Mag, the XPS 13 has some highly-rated features such as battery life, gorgeous display, light weight, to name a few. Under the hood, the device will draw its power from Intel's 7th Generation (Intel i7) Kaby Lake processor that boost up the battery life to a massive 14 hours. The option available regarding the specifications is a 3.6GHz Intel Core i7-7y75 processor or a slightly lower variant that is 3.2Ghz Intel core i5-7Y54 processor.
The new generation Kaby Lake processor is capable of supporting 1080p resolution games without any hassle and the Intel Integrated HD 620 graphics supports all its graphic accelerations. Touch display options include UltraSharp Quad HD+ Panel and Full HD Display Panel, although, the prices varies.
ZDNET states that the laptop features RAM options from 4GB/8GB to 16GB LPDDR3. The XPS 13 will have storage options starting from 128GB SATA to 1TB SSD which can be expanded with externals Hard drives. The device will also include a fingerprint reader and webcam and couple of USB Type-C Ports along with order required input and output ports.
The 2-in-1 XPS 13 features a 360-degree hinge that transforms the Laptop into Tablets and vice-versa. The CES 2017 will commence on January 5 and will end on January 8.
