Complete Nominations List For Golden Globes 2017 Is Here; La La Land Tops The Charts Followed By Barry Jenkins' Moonlight

The much awaited 74th edition of the prestigious critics' film awards Golden Globe Awards 2017 will be hosted by Jimmy Fallon on Sunday night. Golden Globe honors the best in film and American television of 2016.
The Tonight Show star, Jimmy Fallon will be the first new host in the last seven years to host the first major awards of the New Year on January 8, RollingStone reported. The show will air at 8 p.m. EST on NBC.
Damien Chazelle's La La Land is leading the charge with seven nominations in total including best picture (musical or comedy), best actress (musical or comedy) for Emma Stone, and best actor (musical or comedy) for Ryan Gosling, Entertainment Weekly reported.
The modern-day musical was closely chased by Barry Jenkins' Moonlight with six nominations including best picture (drama), best director for Jenkins and best supporting actor for Mahershala Ali. The third spot has been bagged by Manchester By The Sea with five nominations.
Lion also fared well on the list with nominations for stars Dev Patel and Nicole Kidman. Other top contenders include Deadpool, Nocturnal Animals and 20th Century Women.
The television nominations are led by Ryan Murphy's The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story with five nominations, including nods for Best Miniseries or Television Film, Best Actor in a Miniseries or Television Film for Courtney B. Vance, and Best Actress in a Miniseries or Television Film for Sarah Paulson. Others to feature in the list included The Night Manager, Black-ish, Stranger Things, Game of Thrones, The Crown and This Is Us.
Golden Globes 2017 will air at 8 pm EST. NBC will also air Golden Globes Arrival Special at 7pm EST for those who want to check out the fashion trends on the red carpet. Red Carpet Live will air on E! one hour earlier, with Giuliana Rancic and Ryan Seacrest starting their coverage at 6 pm EST.
