An Honor 8 Doppleganger, Huawei P8 Lite (2017) Launched With 5.2-inch Full-HD Display & Kirin 655 SoC; Huawei P10 Lite To Launch Soon

Sources suggest that there are more smartphones to be released by HTC this year. Apart from HTC, it's Huawei which has made it to the headlines. The successor to Huawei P8 Lite, the all-new Huawei P8 Lite (2017) was showcased by Huawei. Specifications have considerably improved and the first look at the device gives a glimpse of Honor 8.

Indeed, it is built on Honor 8 as a design reference. The all-new Huawei P8 Lite sports a 5.2" Full-HD IPS which makes it distinct from its predecessor which had an HD display. When compared with P8 Lite (2015), the new 2017 iteration comes with Quad-core HiSilicon Kirin 620 with RAM of 3GB. The device has 16GB of internal storage [same as P8 Lite (2015)]. Further specifications reveal that the all-new P8 Lite 2017 features a slightly altered its camera setup from the previous 13-megapixel to now 12-megapixel, however, picture quality has been improved. The Huawei P8 Lite (2017) has bumped the screen resolution to 1080p which makes it a desirable smartphone. The device sports a 3,000mAh Li-Ion battery. The device gets its share of the new Android Nougat 7.0 operating system.

Phandroid stated that Huawei has managed to stick its fingerprint sensor on the new device as it does with all its smartphones. The new Huawei P8 Lite will make it to the European markets with a price-tag of $254, U.S. markets might not get the device, though. 

Soon after Huawei P8 Lite released, Huawei has prompted another release slated to happen in next couple of weeks. The device to be showcased is the new Huawei P10 Lite (2017) for P10 series. The P10 Lite is considered to have 5.5-inch with 1440x2560 pixels at a massive 534ppi. the device will be power-packed with Kirin 960 SoC and will be having 4GB/6GB RAM variants. The device is truly an high-end smartphone. It will also have Dual 12-megapizel Leica optics with an aperture of f/1.7 capable of taking 2016p at 30fps, quoted by GSMArena.
