Samsung will be releasing a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 despite numerous speculations that the tech company will be abandoning the Galaxy Note phablet line after the Note 7 setback. Reports have now confirmed that Samsung will be using the Note 8 to bring back the old luster of its flagship phablet line.
After it has been confirmed that a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is in the works, reports about the features of the next gen Samsung phablet spread like wild fire. Though some of the rumored features may have been out of hand, there are some alleged leaks that have the semblance of being true.
One of the plausible and possible new feature that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will sport is Samsung's new dual screen foldable display technology. Not only will the Note 8 feature a foldable screen it will also be bezel-less and will have a support for virtual reality.
To up the ante and give the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 an edge against the other smartphones that is set to be unveiled this 2017, Samsung will allegedly give the Note 8 a full 4K AMOLED display. According to recent reports, the 4K AMOLED will make VR support for the Note 8 more promising.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 according to reports will have a 3.2GHz Snapdragon 830 processor under its hood. Reports also suggest that Samsung will be releasing two Note 8s, one will be powered by the Snapdragon 830s while the other will have the Exynos 8895 Anastasia processor from Samsung.
Though official announcements about the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 have been scarce, these speculations keep on piling up. Though the veracity of these reports may not be known until an official announcement from Samsung is made, hearing similar reports from different sources give these reports a hint of validity.
For Samsung to regain its old phablet glory, it will not be enough that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 be a cut above the Note 7. The Note 8 should not only be better than the Note 7 but shoud be better than the hypothetical Note 8.
