Redheads Rejoice As They Will Soon Get Their Own Emoji

Redhead emojis might actually happen on all messaging platforms after an online petition was made. Ginger emojis were already launched on Google play, but users may have limited access as it is yet to be made available on all platforms.
Ginger emojis are already made available on Google Play Store for Android. Apple is yet to add the redhead emojis as of this date. The new emojis were part of the outcry that paved the way to the online petition reaching more than 15,000 signatures as per Daily Mail.
Google Play Store for Android already added the emojis which features iconic character such as Ron Weasley and Conan O'Brian. The new set of ginger head characters has 16 icons in total, which was created by Swyft Media. He stated that he and the rest of his team heeded the plea of redheads, thus they came up with the ginger emojis.
"There are different memes going around the internet, including one which claims gingers don't have souls," Evan Wray, founder of Swyft Media told the Mirror during an interview. "This shows a lack of love for people with red hair - and we are trying to fix that. I have felt their pain."
Users can download the Ginger emojis for free though Google Play, they can use these emojis on their messaging apps and even use it as stickers on their social media posts. The emojis also comes with different emotions including happy, angry and sad.
iPhone users rejoice at it was mentioned that the Ginger emojis will soon be available for iPhone. Swyft Media explained however that these Ginger icons can only be used as a sticker as these icons can only be seen with the use of the Unicode Consortium, which accepts similar characters into its system.
