Manny Pacquiao Opens Up About His Interest On Going Against UFC Fighter Conor McGregor Inside The Ring

Irish MMA fighter Conor McGregor made it to the headlines after news broke out that the UFC president offered him and Floyd Mayweather $25 million each to push through with their fight. Despite the offer, Mayweather rejected the deal, another legendary boxer, Manny Pacquiao expressed his interest in fighting McGregor inside the ring.
Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor previously got caught up with their word-wars, which turned into a challenge inside the ring or the octagon. When their fight broke out, the UFC president, Dana White offered both fighters a $50 million deal, which Mayweather turned down stating that the offer is too small.
Conor McGregor already got his boxing license earlier this month in California, which means that he can potentially fight a professional boxer. Mayweather's team also voiced out their stand in regards to the fight offer that was turned down stating that as much as McGregor would want to fight inside the ring, his UFC bosses won't allow him.
"It's all a game. It's all a calculated effort to gain more fans," Leonard Ellerbe, the CEO of Mayweather Promotion told ESPN in a phone interview. "He got a boxing license. Congratulations to him. Conor McGregor can say anything he wants to, but he has a boss and his name is [UFC president] Dana White. He is under contract to the UFC, and if he wanted to fight Floyd Mayweather in a boxing match, he can't because his bosses wouldn't allow that to happen."
Floyd Mayweather might have rejected the offer, but another legendary boxer is willing to take the challenge. Philippine boxer Manny Pacquiao expressed his interest in going against Conor McGregor inside the ring as per The Sun. "In boxing? In boxing [I would fight McGregor] but not in the UFC, just boxing," Manny Pacquiao stated.
The boxer may be highly interested in going against Conor McGregor, but it was mentioned that the fight is not likely to happen. UFC president Dana White expressed his dismay staying that he has nothing against the Philippine boxer, but it's his promoter, Bob Arum that White does not want to deal with.
"Listen, I love Manny Pacquiao," White said. "But I don't love Bob Arum. You can tell Arum to save his money and not make any calls over here because we aren't doing business with him."
