A number of people had experienced overheating phones as of today. This matter became a big thing right after mobile phones were claimed to explosions in different states with different cases. Just last year, Samsung had recalled all their most modern mobile phones to pass up any harmful incidents. This had been the wake-up call for all the mobile phone manufacturer and users that if proper usage has not been met then injurious occurrences may happen.

This year, various smartphone makers are showing interest in using thermal pipes on their new flagships for heat dissipation. These brands are Sony, LG and Samsung. DigiTimes had claimed that LG and Samsung are adopting thermal pipes for their smartphones that will be launching this year.

To add with, LG Electronics will use heat-pipes produced by Furukawa Electric which is base in Japan and Delta Electronics which is base in Taiwan for its upcoming phone G6. On the other hand, Samsung Electronics will be using heat-pipes from Auras Technology and Chaun Choung Technology (CCI) which were both based in Taiwan for Samsung's Galaxy S8.

But then, heat-pipes are not actually new to Samsung. These pipes had been used in Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. Furthermore, Samsung had asserted that Samsung Galaxy S8 will be using two heat pipes.

However, it was allegedly withdrawn. Mass shipments of these pipes are expected on February. On the other hand, Android Authority had affirmed that Sony has been using thermal pipes for quite some time now until Samsung Galaxy S7 had announced that they became the major topic.

Thermal pipes are being used in today's smarthphones in order to disperse the heat from the phone. Its major role is to let the small holes absorb the heat, turns it into steam and then move it through the pipes.
