"Final Fantasy 15" fans have another reason to rejoice. The "FF15's" Moogle Chocobo Carnival is already live and ongoing.
According to IGN, Moogle Chocobo Carnival is a special event for the popular title. This is open from Jan. 24 to Feb. 20, 2017.
This fun and exciting game is open for all who own the game. Just download the Holiday Pack and install the latest update. The DLC includes Outfits, Items and the Carnival Passport which will give you access to the most celebrated carnival in the "Final Fantasy" world today.
After the download, you can access the carnival by selecting "Special" in the Main Menu. Explore and enjoy!
Per Kotaku, the limited time special event is like a county fair. It is fun but tedious. It offers fabulous prizes but you need coins. To have coins you need to play mini games.
There are tons of mini games available in different locations. For instance, there two mini-games in Galviano Arena called "Tiromatto" and "Schiacciaghi."
For "Tiromatto" the goal of the player is to use the turret to break as many targets as possible to gain points. On the other hand, for "Schiacciaghi," the goal is to strike the Cactuar as many times as you can to gain more points.
Aside from the said games, there are also riddles and quizzes. Players should not expect all the mini-game to offer the same fun. So, for those tired of the games, another means of gaining coins is by wandering around Altissia.
Among the anticipated part of the event are the fireworks. However, the goal is to find 6 moogle dolls in the carnival to gain medals that one can redeem towards the fireworks show. Apart from the fun, the event aims to inculcate knowledge to the players.
"Attendees will walk away with a knowledge of how an auto-snapshot feature changes game experiences, how to use photos to characterize a game character, and technical knowledge for the design of automatic snapshot," the Game Developers Conference account wrote per Phone Mantra.
Overall, the "Final Fantasy 15" event has no significant impact on the game proper but it is effective in reigniting the interest of the players to the game. "FF15" game director Hajime Tabata also added that their goal is to relieve their players from unintentional stress and to give them a new element that will expand the gameplay.
