‘Clash Royale’ Latest News, Tips & Tricks: How To Maximize Executioner, Newest Card in ‘Clash Royale’
- comments
The Executioner is the newest card to enter the "Clash Royale" arena following the successful debut of the Dart Goblin. It is the only card in "Clash Royale" that deals damage twice per attack. Here are a few tips and tricks that will teach players how to maximize the Executioner.
The Executioner can be unlocked in the Jungle Arena. The "newest card in "Clash Royale" is a 5-elixir epic-type troop card that throws an axe in a straight line, dealing damage to opposing troops on the axe's way forward, and then dealing another set of damage when the axe goes back to the Executioner.
The Executioner has a range similar to that of the Witch, and an attack similar to that of the Bowler. However, unlike the Bowler, the Executioner can attack both air and ground troops. Since the Executioner is a ranged attacker and deals area damage twice, the newest card can be used as an alternative to the Witch or the Wizard in a Giant combo.
The Executioner is also effective in countering swarm troops, such as the Skeleton Army, the Goblins (Spear/Stab), and the Minions or the Minion Horde, due to its relatively high area splash damage effect. The Executioner can also be used as an alternative to the Bowler when countering Goblin Barrel by placing the Executioner just behind the Arena Tower.
However, the Executioner does not have the Bowler's push back effect. The Executioner also has lower health compared to the Bowler, and has moderately low damage per second making the newest card in "Clash Royale" susceptible to defending troops such as the Mini PEKKA, the Knight, or the aforementioned swarm troops.
That said, "Clash Royale" players can maximize the usage of the Executioner by pairing the card with the Bowler. The Executioner can take out the air swarms and help the Bowler clear the ground troops. Since both the Bowler and the Executioner have high hit points, they can survive Fireball and Zap or Fireball and Log counters.
The best value of the Executioner, however, is when the newest card in "Clash Royale" is placed behind a tank such as the Giant or the Knight. The Executioner can take out most of the low health troops ahead of the tank and deal damage to the higher hit-point defending troops.
The Executioner is not only the latest card to be introduced in "Clash Royale." It is the first and only card that can deal damage twice, making the Executioner a potentially crucial card that can be used to most decks. Visit our website for more tricks and tips!
