Supercell aims to make their games playable for years and they proved this once more after getting "Clash of Clans" and "Clash Royale" back in Apple's App Store. However, one beats the other, which of the two dominates?

Per Neurogadget, "Clash of Clans" is a strategic action game where the player has to build his own space to defend. The title is a multi-player game. Meanwhile, "Clash Royale" is a tower defense system.

Looking back, there is no doubt that "Clash of Clans" is one of the most popular games in years. In fact, it dominates the Apple App Store the longest but its reign is definitely over.

The Wall Street Journal reported that "Clash Royale" and "Clash of Clans" are back in Apple App Store's Top 10. The former dominates the ranking on the top spot, while the latter is in the fourth spot.

Clearly, "Clash Royale" has gotten over "Clash of Clans" in terms of popularity. When the title was first released it didn't get the same response as "Clash of Clans" but it has succeeded its parent game now.

Per the report, "Clash Royale" had lost track when it was launched. However, it gave a good fight after Supercell made changes, catapulting the game into the top spot. In fact, the game beat Niantic's "Pokemon Go."

As for what Supercell did to win back their players, the developers admitted that they listen to their players' request. "We weren't good at listening to players," said Ilkka Paananen, chief executive and founder of Supercell.

Reports have it that "Clash Royale" players complained about the sending of smiley faces to defeated opponent at the end of the battle. The gamers find it humiliating. They also want to receive updates about the game. Supercell has shown their eagerness to address their players' concerns.

Per Touch Arcade, the team has finally realized that the "Clash of Clans" and "Clash Royale" players are necessary for their success. If Supercell continues to support their users' demand their games will likely survive.

Which do you prefer between "Clash of Clans" and "Clash Royale?" Do you agree that the latter is better? Share your thoughts below.
