The "Supergirl" Valentines episode will be different because it will highlight an LGBT romance. According to recent reports, Alex (Chyler Leigh) and Maggie's (Floriana Lima) romance will be featured in a special way.

Entertainment Weekly reported that Alex is very excited about her first Valentine's Day with her girlfriend Maggie. Unfortunately, the latter does not share her excitement. Maggie is not into celebrating the holiday and this only leads to their first real fight.

Andrew Kreisberg already informed the "Supergirl" fans that Alex and Maggie's relationship will not be perfect. "Just because they are together now doesn't mean it's going to go smoothly," he told EW.

Just like any other relationship Alex and Maggie's will face several challenges. You will find every element of romance in their relationship.

"It's going to be funny, it's going to be serious, it's going to be romantic, it's going to be heartbreaking," Kreisberg told the Hollywood Reporter. "It's going to be everything that any relationship that you see on TV, no matter what the gender, should and will be."

In the photo released by Entertainment Weekly, it seems the lovers are able to patch things up. The two women are dancing and judging from the flowers on Alex's wrist it seems that Maggie makes it up to her. You can check out the photo here.

The anticipated episode will air on Feb. 13 and is the first episode that completely focuses on the two characters. If you are a fan of Alex and Maggie's romance the upcoming episode is a must-watch.

Meanwhile, according to Comic Book, Livewire (Brit Morgan) will make another electrifying appearance on the next "Supergirl" episode titled "We Can Be Heroes." However, since her former boss Cat Grant (Calista Flockhart) is not around, she will take her range to the Woman of Steel (Melissa Benoist).

Watch "Supergirl" Season 2 "We Can Be Heroes" on Monday, Jan. 30 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on the CW. Stay tuned for more update on your favorite TV series.
