Recent studies found that shampoo at the cost of £1 gives a better result than the top brands of £40. Regardless of the price, people purchase shampoo to clean hair while expecting good result. There are lots of shampoos available in the market, which offer a complete cure for dandruff and itching.

The research says there are a few brands that can give a perfect solution, says Dr. Anton Alexandroff from Leicester Spire and Nuffield Health Hospital. He recommended few shampoos that can remove dandruff with regular use, but not a permanent solution.

He said Head & Shoulders is clinically proven shampoo to remove dandruff at the cost of £5.33 for 250 ml. The company says it can eliminate stubborn dandruff and protect your scalp seven-day from the issue. There occurs a small result by which certain flakes of skin removing from the scalp.

In some cases dandruff is forming through a process of excess growth of yeast, a kind of eczema called seborrhoeic dermatitis. Other cases say dandruff forms as of psoriasis by which the excess production of skin cells lead to itchy, sore patches, Live Strong reports.

Seborrhoeic Dermatitis builds up with the presence of yeast; selenium sulfide in the shampoo helps to remove yeast. While someone is purchasing a shampoo he can check the content of this chemical to wipe out yeast. "However it contains the detergent sodium lauryl sulfate, which can cause dermatitis, as well as the preservative methylisothiazolinone, which can trigger an allergic reaction. So, it could address one skin condition but spark another, "Dr. Alexandroff says.

As the shampoo company claims, the researcher does not give any assurance for seven-day protection from one-time use, daily usage for one week can kill the issue. Nilaqua, t/gel, Klorane, Nirozal, Selsun, Alpecin, Eucerin, Nioxin, Yes to carrots, Boots expert are the other list of shampoos suggested by Dr. Alexandroff, the Daily Mail reports.
