Angelina Jolie News: ‘Mr and Mrs Smith’ Actress Steps Out With Kids After Divorce Filing

Angelina Jolie's latest movie seems to be really close to the actress's heart. Right after her split from ex Brad Pitt the actress is once again back into the limelight. Only this time, Jolie has appeared with her children. She was spotted at the free screening of her movie, "First They Killed My Father" at a famous complex in Cambodia.
According to E News, the Hollywood star was joined by her kids, Maddox, Zahara, Pax, Shiloh and twins, Knox and Vivienne. This was Jolie's first red carpet appearance with kids and without Pitt, after her much talked about split from him.
The kids, Maddox, Knox and Pax was spotted in smart suits alongwith tomboy Shiloh, while Zahara opted for a loose fitted dress and Vivienne, a jumpsuit. The mother of six kids and actress Jolie looked all smiles throughout the event. Along with enjoying the movie screening with her kids, the "Salt" actress also met Cambodia King, Norodom Sihamoni, at his royal residence in Siem Reap.
Jolie also directed the wrote the screenplay of the movie, "First They Killed My Father". The movie is entirely based on author and social activist, Loung Ung's terrible experience serving as a child soldier in Cambodia. The movie is based on his experience during the Khmer Rouge's reign of terror and genocide in 1975.
The movie is expected to release on Netflix sometime later this year. After the premiere, the actress was spotted flaunting her fuchsia gown. Her six children was also spotted beside their mother as she met the king and gifted her a flower bouquet Mirror reported.
I cannot find words to express what it means to me that I was entrusted with telling part of the story of this country," Jolie said. She further added, "This film was not made to focus on the horrors of the past, but to celebrate the resilience, kindness and talent of the Cambodian people."
Jolie also said that the movie wouldn't be possible without Cambodia and its people. She also mentioned that it was her way of thanking the people in Cambodia without whom she wouldn't be a mother. She even said that a part of the country is always with her in the form of Maddox.
