‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ Season 8 Episode 17 Spoilers: Farewell Miguel Ferrer Tribute; Anna And Callen’s Romantic Date Update

As Owen Granger played by Miguel Ferrer in the previous “NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 8 Episode 15 died, fans have been saying that he would be truly missed. Yet, reports point to it that in the upcoming episodes of the series, a tribute for the passed away Ferrer would be made. Anna and Callen are reported to be featured in the next episodes as well.

According to Deadline, actor, Miguel Ferrer had been stabbed in a case and was brought to a hospital. Ferrer was then said to have left an “I have some unfinished business to take care of. I’m sure you’ll think of something…You always do” note for his colleague Hetty played by Linda Hunt. The beloved “NCIS: Los Angeles” character was then identified to be gone already on his last mission and be never seen again.

The “NCIS: Los Angeles” episode 16 then ended with Bob Dylans’ “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door” cover music sung by Ferrer himself with his previous band. As the Assistant Director for the series’ in six seasons, people had been missing the actor already. Miguel Ferrer passed away last January 19 at the age of 61 due to throat cancer.

On the other hand, in the upcoming “NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 8 Episode 17 entitled “Queen Pin” is reported to center in Anna and Callen’s relationship. The synopsis goes, “Sam assumes a former alias in a risky undercover operation to take down an elusive drug lord.” It was also mentioned that Hetty would interrupt Anna (Varvara Alexandrovna "Bar" Paly) and Callen’s (Chris O'Donnell) date and have them do a prison escort mission per CarterMatt.

Blasting News also reported that given Anna and Callen being cozy and cheesy around each other, Hetty then interrupts them. Yet whether would the two lovebirds accept the mission still remains a question. The prison escort mission is also mentioned to might bring them trouble in the upcoming “NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 8 Episode 17.
