Are you still looking forward to Pokemon Go's next bombshell? It's been a while since we have heard the upcoming events from this legendary mobile game. Don't worry because the long wait is over for our players in Japan.

According to Mic, "Pokemon Go's" Japanese Twitter account has finally revealed their next affair. They posted a picture of Snorlax along with the dates 3/4 and 3/13. People, especially their die-hard fans, anticipated a Snorlax event and got so delighted about it. Though the Niantic Inc., the developer of this reality mobile game, hasn't officially released any statement, many players have expressed their enthusiasms regarding the announcement.

On the other hand, the major purpose of this event is to foster Kumamoto and Oita Prefectures' tourism, as reported by WGG. These regions were devastatingly hit by a magnitude-7.3 quake last April 2016. "Pokemon Go" also cautioned the players since the areas were still being repaired due to last year's incident.
Last year, with the acknowledgment from Niantic, "Pokemon Go" organized the Lapras event in the Fukushima Prefecture. Their objective was the same, to popularize the area once again after a destructive earthquake hit the place in 2011, as stated by Forbes.

Lapras and Snorlax are both superb type of "Pokemo." Lapras is a water-type Pokemon while Snorlax is large but adorable kind. Both of them are seldom to find. You would really want to catch them in many ways.

The Lapras event began on November 11, 2016, in which people were totally surprised by the increased number of this "Pokemon" within the area. The event was supposed to last until the 23rd of the same month. However, they postponed it due to a tsunami warning on November 22nd. Let's us all hope the approaching Snorlax event would be successful and safe. It will probably start on March 4th up to 13th.
