‘Call of Duty: WW2’ Coop Mode, Story Details, Release Date Revealed

Activision has officially confirmed the release of "Call of Duty: WW2." Leaks about the upcoming game has gotten fans of the first-person shooting franchise excited about its release. Here are some details of what to expect from the game.
Digital Spy reveals that "Call of Duty: WW2" will be developed by Sledgehammer Games, one of the three studios that Activision uses to produce annual installments of the franchise. For the 2017 game, the game goes back to its origin-World War II. Activision is looking to bounce back from its setback last year with "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare." With a science fiction setting, the company saw a 50 percent drop in its sales as compared to Black Ops 3 launched in 2015.
"Call of Duty: WW2" will bring a cooperative element to the series via a story-driven multiplayer component separate from the main campaign. The teaser about the coop mode goes: "Play with friends in this next level standalone game experience full of unexpected, adrenaline pumping moments." It was also revealed that pre-orders will provide access to a private beta.
Game Rant reports that "Call of Duty: WW2" will bring players back to events such as the Normandy landing while the multiplayer game will offer the option of multiple well-known sites from World War 2. As for the coop mode, they will either be one-off missions or provide the ability to add a second player into the single player campaign.
Meanwhile, Activision has revealed that it will conduct a worldwide reveal of "Call of Duty: WW2" on April 26, 6 pm UK time. This will give fans a sneak peak on what they can expect from the latest game from the franchise. As for the release date, it is expected that WW2 will be launched at the same period as the previous games. It is, therefore, likely that the game will have an early November 2017 release.It will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
