Jennifer Lawrence Appears In New Fashion Campaign

Jennifer Lawrence is the face of a new fashion campaign, E! News reported.

In the photos, Lawrence is shown with her hair up, dressed in a white, sleeveless, crewneck top and black mini skirt, and a silver-plated chain necklace accentuated with sea-green and turquoise stones -- toting a cobalt blue purse.

Another black and white picture shows Lawrence in a black dress with white lace collar and another featuring the actress in a black and white printed cutout top with matching parachute skirt.

Despite initial reports that the photos were for Dior's Spring/Summer 2015 campaign, a representative for Dior told E! News that the shots were for an unrelated editorial shoot with the "Hunger Games" star.

Lawrence was named a spokesmodel for the luxury brand in 2012, following in the footsteps of Oscar winner Natalie Portman, Academy Award winner Charlize Theron and "Black Swan" actress Mila Kunis.

"I really would not call myself a fashion icon. I would call myself somebody who gets dressed by professionals," Lawrence said to E! News in a separate report. "'Dance, monkey. Dance right on the red carpet.' I would call me more of a monkey."

In January, Lawrence extended her contract with Dior for three more years and signed a multimillion dollar deal with the brand, according to The New York Post. The deal reportedly cost between $15 million to $20 million, and will have Lawrence dressed almost exclusively in Dior for all her red carpet appearances.

Lawrence wore Dior to the Oscars since then, noted E! News. The actress wore Dior in 2013, when she won the Academy Award for "Silver Linings Playbook." She also wore the brand again this year.

She was also seen in a quilted white gown during "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1" premiere at London's Leicester Square Odeon, said Mail Online.

So loved is the actress that she is a frequent front row seater at the fashion label's couture runway shows, often seated beside Sidney Toledano, Dior's chief executive officer, Mail Online noted. Fashion expert and blogger Simon Glazin said that Lawrence fits Dior's aesthetic with the strapless gowns and big, voluminous shapes.

"Some of the greatest red carpet moments in the last couple of years have come from Jennifer Lawrence in Dior," Glazin said in the Mail Online report.

Lawrence's fashion campaign photos, were released ahead of her upcoming film "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1," which is set to hit theaters Friday.

Lawrence briefly dated Coldplay frontman, Chris Martin, but is now reportedly getting back together with ex-boyfriend, Nicholas Hoult, according to International Business Times. A source said that the duo regularly contact one another via Skype and that their families would love them to get back together.
