The second promo of Bruce Jenner's exclusive interview with Diane Sawyer on 20/20 can be seen in the video below. The promo reveals little about the interview but still shows one important fact.
According to USA Today, the Olympic gold-medalist can be seen saying, "My whole life has been getting me ready for this." The two-hour special will supposedly show the former Olympian saying good-bye to Bruce and welcoming his female self.
Daily Mail states that the program will be called, "Bruce Jenner: The Interview." It will air on ABC Friday, April 24 at 9 pm ET. The reports adds, "the new teaser follows another clip, that promises 'the interview, the journey, the decisions, the future."
Apparently, the 20/20 interview will be "far-ranging and exclusive," state several reports. Despite the "far-ranging" topics in the interview, TMZ stated that the 65-year-old reality star will not be appearing as a female during the special. However, "Bruce will Chronicle his life from age 5, where he identified himself as a women," reports TMZ.
Hollywood Life states that at this time, Bruce is preparing his family for the airing of the interview.
A source said that Bruce knows there will be tears flowing due to the exclusive and would like to be there to comfort them. The source adds that although everyone in his family already knows about his decision to change his gender, "he still realizes that it will be overwhelming in both good and bad ways for his children."
An insider states to Hollywood Life that Bruce knows his kids have the right to be upset during the emotional interview and would just like to be there for them. The insider adds, "Many questions and perhaps things that his children don't understand or can't wrap their heads around will be answered,"
The insider continues the statement saying, "He's certain his children, and even Kris, will have a lot of emotions watching. He wants to be there with each of them, comforting them and wiping tears from their faces as he unravels a secret that's been eating him alive for most of his life."
According to TMZ, Bruce admitted that he realizes that sex change can lead people to feel contempt towards him and people like him. Even so, he is doing the interview to "free himself and educate the public so others in his position don't have to go through the pain."
