Video of Lady Antebellum Bus on Fire Revealed; Band Safely Evacuated

Lady Antebellum's bus was seen on fire in a Texas freeway. According to Time, the country band's tour bus was heading towards Dallas for the American Country Music Awards when the fire started. Michael Barnett shared a video of the fire on CNN's iReport. The video Barnett posted can be seen below.  

Singer Hillary Scott was the only member of Lady Antebellum on the bus accompanied by her husband, tour manager, and the driver. According to a post the singer made on her Instagram account, one of the tires of the bus caught fire. The vehicle was passing by Interstate 30 when the fire started, reports NBC.  

Luckily, no one was injured during the incident. Captain Billy Craven from the Garland Fire Department stated that everyone on the bus was "fortunate that the driver acted quickly," states NBC. He says, "As soon as he realized that he had a fire, he didn't hesitate to get everyone off and then call 911."  

After everyone was safe, Scott posted a picture of the bus on Instagram, reports CNN. Along with the picture, she wrote, "Hey guys, we had a crazy morning on the way to Dallas today. Our bus tire caught on fire and we had to evacuate very quickly."  

She went on to say, "EVERYONE IS SAFE AND SOUND. It was me, my husband, our tour manager, and driver. Thanking God for our safety and the safety of all of those who helped put this fire out and keep us safe. Love you all!!!" 

She later posted another picture of her Bible which was at the back lounge of the bus, states CNN. She explains the picture saying, "I kid you not, EVERYTHING in the back lounge was destroyed from the flames except my Bible. The outside cover was burned and messed up but NOT ONE PAGE was missing."

She went on to write, "Yall, God's Word will always stand. He is FOR YOU, WILL PROTECT YOU, AND HIS LOVE FOR YOU WILL NEVER FADE. My faith is forever deepened because of today. I hope this story deepens yours."  

According to CNN, Lady Antebellum will be performing at the 50th Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday, April 19, 2016. The award show will be taking place in Arlington, Texas.
