Bruce Jenner's transgender transformation will be covered in an eight-part docu-series on E!. The 65-year old Olympian has already confirmed that he is now a woman in an interview on 20/20 with Diane Sawyer, reports Mirror.

In the interview he stated, "Yes, for all intents and purposes, I'm a woman. I have the soul of a female and my brain is much more female than it is male, as of now I have all the male parts."

Meanwhile, the Daily Mail reports that Bruce also revealed in his interview with Diane Sawyer, "I've always been confused about my gender identity since I was this big."

As talk of the Bruce's interview dies down, reports of his upcoming eight-part documentary are flooding the Internet. According to Daily Mail, E! has confirmed that the documentary will air on Monday, July 27. As of now, the title of the documentary has not been announced.

The Executive Vice President of Programming and Development at E!, Jeff Olde, has made a public comment about Bruce's decision to share his transformation with the world, states Daily Mail.

"Bruce is incredibly courageous and an inspiration, and we are proud to be entrusted with this deeply personal and important story," says Olde.

He goes on to say, "This series will present an unfiltered look as Bruce boldly steps into uncharted territory and is true to himself for the first time."

While the docu-series has been confirmed, it was also reportedly put on hold due to Jenner's concern for his children and step-children, reports Daily Mail. Along with his two daughters with Kris, Kendall and Kylie, Bruce has four other children from his previous marriages.

His four other children are Burt, Cassandra, Brandon, and Brody.  Aside from his biological children, Bruce also has four step-children from Kris: Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, and Rob Kardashian.

Despite the docu-series being put on hold, however, Bruce has decided to follow through with it. Although, the gold-medalist's sons, as well as Kim Kardashian, have warned against fully exposing his transformation to the public, states TMZ.

Sources who are close to Jenner's children told TMZ that "Kim and the boys think Bruce was spectacular on the Diane Sawyer special and won over millions of people in the process." Bruce's sons and Kim believe that documenting his sex change might "de-class" what he accomplished with the 20/20 interview.
