Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Diet: Wrestler Get 5,165 Calories From 10lbs. of Food Everyday!

WWE champion Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has always been known for his big, bulky muscles and fit body. At the age of 43, "The Rock" stands at 6 foot 4 inches and has maintained his muscular physique.

The wrestling champ turned action movie hero works hard to keep his fit body. According to Daily Mail, along with his daily exercise routines, Johnson also follows a diet plan, which involves 5,165 calories and 10 pounds of food cut up into seven meals a day.

He followed the seven-meal-a-day diet plan to get ready for his starring role in "Hercules." Johnson even posted the meal plan at the time on Instagram, explaining what he ate for each of the seven meals. He titled the post, "#TeamHercules 12 Labors Diet," eluding to the 12 labors Hercules had to complete in Greek mythology.

"Our training is key, but diet is crucial. Here's my diet I did every day for 6 months while shooting #HERCULESMovie... Adjust the diet to your personal goals and have fun. Nemean Lion blood is optional. #TeamHercules #ItAllStartsinTheKitchen #FOCUS," he captioned the post.

Johnson really does seems dedicated and focused when it comes to staying fit and in tip top shape. He would wake up at 4 in the morning and workout in-between meals, reports Daily Mail.

Describing his morning, Johnson says, "I do cardio 4-5 am, then take 4-6 scoops of Optimum''s Amino Energy," reports Muscle and Fitness. According to Daily Mail, after the cardio workout, Johnson eats the first meal of the day, which consists of 10 oz cod, 2 whole eggs and 2 cups of oatmeal.

"After [Meal no.1] I hit the iron for 90 minutes," Johnson tells Muscle and Fitness. He will eat meal two mid-morning meals which consists of 8 oz cod, 12 oz sweet potato and 1 cup of vegetables.

According to Muscle and Fitness, the wrestling champ adds, "Post-workout I have 60 grams Optimum Nutrition's Platinum Hydrowhey with 15 grams of glutamine. Thirty minutes later I consume 32 oz of Gatorade."

For lunch, Daily Mail reports that the wrestler eats an 8 oz chicken with 2 cups of white rice and 1 cup of vegetables, which would comprise meal 3 of the day. For the fourth meal, he switches back to fish, eating an 8 oz cod, with 2 cups of white rice, 1 cup of vegetables and 1 tablespoon of fish oil.

For meal 5, Johnson changes things up a bit by eating an 8 oz steak with a 12 oz baked potato and a spinach salad. He goes back to fish for meal 6, eating 10 oz cod with 2 cups of white rice and a salad.

For the seventh and last meal of the day, Johnson eats no meat but consumes a lot of eggs. Meal 7 involves eating 30 grams of casein protein, a 10 egg-white omelet, 1 cup of vegetables and 1 tablespoon of omega-3 fish oil.
