"Real Housewives of Atlanta" star, Kim Zolciak, posted a picture of herself on Instagram, claiming she lost 4 inches on her waistline thanks to waist training.
According to E News, Zolciak, who is married to Atlanta Falcons player Kroy Biermann, wrote a caption for the picture saying:

The mother of six also made a video (seen below) showing off her slimmer waistline to prove that the picture was not altered, reports Perez Hilton.
The reality star speaks to her "haters" on the video post, which she captioned: "Sooooo I made a video since most of you think I photoshop my pics! I don't cause I don't need too!..."

Waist trainers can actually push internal organs away from the waistline, reports Mooky Chick.
Similar to organ movement during pregnancy when the uterus expands, the upper organs are pushed upward, while the lower ones are pushed downward when wearing corsets.
2. Myth - Corsets help people lose weight.
According to Dr. Andrew Miller, a plastic surgeon in New York and New Jersey, corset training is not directly responsible for losing wait.
However, corsets do help people slim down indirectly by preventing the stomach from expanding. As a result, people wearing waist trainers eat less causing them to lose weight, explains Dr. Miller on CNN.
3. Fact - Waist trainers can damage your lungs
Besides causing an oxygen shortage that makes it difficult to breathe, waist trainers can also lead fluid into the lungs, warns Dr. Holly Philips, an internist from New York, Yahoo has learned.
4. Myth - Waist trainers can "tame curves" by restructuring bones.
Dr. Philips says that after bones have formed in adults, there is no way of changing their structure.
5. Fact - There is no harm in corset training if used in moderation.
Miller advises women to purchase a corset that properly fits and to take it off whenever it starts to feel uncomfortable or it becomes difficult to breathe.
