Ben Affleck & Jennifer Garner Step Out After Divorce Announcement

After announcing his divorce with Jennifer Garner on June 30 and spending a final vacation together as a family at the Bahamas on July 5, Ben Affleck has been spotted without his wedding ring.

E! Online writes that Ben looked like he needed a better pick-me-upper than the Starbucks coffee he bought alone last Saturday in Los Angeles. Sporting a messy hair and graying beard, it is the first time that the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" actor has been photographed after returning home from their emotional family vacation.

Daily Mail UK adds that besides the grunge look, Ben seems to have added another surprise in the form of a new back tattoo. It might have fit his fashion style of Detroit City shirt, jeans and black boots that day, but no one knows yet if the tattoo is permanent or not.

An insider states that Ben is devastated by the divorce and is going through a hard time, so the tattoo could be his way of escape or a sign that he's undergoing a midlife crisis.

The divorce of Bennifer, after their 10-year marriage, has came as a shock to fans but according to People Magazine, close friends of the couple saw it coming. One source states that big differences between the two stars have slowly made a gap in their marriage. 

One issue that could have triggered the couple's separation is that Jennifer is often left alone to attend to their kids Violet, Seraphina and Samuel. A source of the magazine states that even though Ben is a good dad, his  several interests and personal issues might have been too much for Jennifer to handle.

On related news, Pop Sugar writes that Ben stayed in California while his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner, took the kids and flew to Atlanta to start filming her upcoming movie "Miracles From Heaven."

The actress was also spotted out in Atlanta last Monday, still wearing her wedding ring and looking like she's ready to start working. Jennifer looked like she's in much better shape than her ex-husband, donning a denim shirt dress and black sandals. 

As of Tuesday, Ben has been sighted in Atlanta, alighting from a private jet, and is said to reunite with his children for a much-needed quality time, while his estranged wife continues with her movie filming, the Daily Mail UK notes.
