It appears that a misunderstanding over a star's tweet has led fans to believe that filming for the much-awaited season 5 of 'American Horror Story' has already started. Apparently, that is not the case as one of the stars of the hit series clarifies the issue on Twitter.

International Business Times reports that Denis O'Hare has confirmed on his Twitter page that shooting has not yet started for the series. The rumors have started when O'Hare shared on social media that he is back and ready to work. Apparently, many fans have interpreted this as "started shooting."

The actor tweeted, "Back in LA. Starting my character research. Some, um, body-work. Sometimes work means other things... not actually shooting yet. My bad."

With this tweet, speculations begin to sprout around the cryptic "body-work" O'Hare said on his last tweet. Could this mean he's doing some body-building or a little more gruesome than that?

In past seasons, O'Hare has played fascinating characters—from being a disfigured burn victim to an endowed con artist—and fans can't wait to see what his character would be in this season's "Hotel."

Melty adds that this season's theme is a tribute to Ryan Murphy's personal fears and phobia, making it one of the toughest stories to write.

This will be the first season without mainstay Jessica Lange as the series will focus more on a cast ensemble rather than one character taking the reigns.

Murphy said that season 5 will be darker, bloodier and grieslier. This is tougher for him as he has always wanted to write about his fears, but was too scared to explore things that frighten him. But, for Hotel, Murphy has decided to go with his guts, probably centering on terror by ghost occupants?

And speaking of hotels, Movie Pilot has also shared possible spoilers for this season. As this year's focus is a haunted hotel, one couldn't imagine what gruesome stories can be delivered from a nice and clean place. Maybe this could turn into a "The Shining" inspired story or perhaps a busy hotel with a very dark secret? And who could be the concierge?

There are so many ways the new seasn of AHS can start with but whichever way, fans can't wait to see what is in store for them this season. Well, they have to wait for its release in October.
