It looks like the '90s is slowly making its way for a big comeback! After the revival of the jelly shoes, leather biker jackets, and sexy tousled hair, here is another return that no one has anticipated to ever happen: a Backstreet Boys and NSYNC movie!

According to USA Today’s Entertain This, Nick Carter and AJ Mclean of the Backstreet Boys and NSYNC’s Joey Fatone will be united for SyFy Channel’s zombie movie called "Dead 7." Carter’s wife, Lauren Kitt, will also be joining the cast.

The group has promoted the movie in Comic-Con last weekend, where Nick said he will also be writing and directing the film. "Dead 7" will be produced by Asylum, makers of "Sharknado," and is said to be about a zombie apocalypse in the West.

People Magazine adds that in the movie, Carter will play the main character alongside Fatone, while Mclean will be the apprentice of the main villain. Fatone believes this will the best therapy he’ll ever be in for the rest of his life.

Entertainment Weekly adds that Nick Carter has announced on Twitter his plans for the movie and has appeared to be trying to stir up major publicity as he calls on to certain people whom he believes should get a part in the movie.

Nick has called on One Direction’s Niall Horan and has asked him if he’s cool to play as his brother. He tweeted, “Ok @NiallOfficial I know we’re from different generations but… would you like to play my brother in this zombie movie with me?”

Horan has yet to reply but with 1D’s busy schedule, it might take a little bit more than legendary boy bands uniting to make him say yes.

The Wrap further adds that Carter didn’t stop the open invitation to Horan alone but has rounded up most of the famous members of the music industry in the '90s and early 2000s, which included Mel B of the Spice Girls, Sisqo, and believe it or not, Sir Paul McCartney too.
