Nike release dates 2015: KD 8 'Hunts Hill Night' drops Sept. - price, photos & where to buy?

The KD 8 "Hunt's Hill Night" will finally be available for purchase, following the Aug. 14 release of the KD 8 "Suits" edition. According to Nike's official website, the latest edition of the KD 8 will be released on Wednesday, Sept. 2.

It will be available in all men's sizes. The shoe can be ordered from Nike.com or other stores permitted to sell Nike products, reports Kicks on Fire.

The retail price of the newest KD 8 sneaker is $180. The sneakers are also available on eBay, however the prices may differ. On the international website, the KD 8 sneakers can cost from as low as $165.00 to as high as $260.00.

To make the shoe, Nike was inspired by Kevin Durant's determination and dedication in training when he was a much younger athlete. Nike.com states that the young Durant would spend up to eight or more hours on the court everyday to train.

After training, Durant would finish up the day on Hunt's Hill, a 75-foot incline. He would go up and down the hill, no matter how dark it was, 25 times. He would go home hungry and tired.

According to Durant, he was fully aware that he would climb up and down that hill again the next day. However, despite going home tired and hungry due to the exertion of the hill, he looked forward to facing the 75 ft. incline every single day.

Sneaker News adds that the 2015 KD 8 "Hunt's Hill Night" sneakers are the second edition of the shoe. The first version was released more than two years ago.

The redesigned colorway pays tribute to Durant's Hunt's Hill challenge through the jagged striped pattern seen on the Flyweave upper of the shoes. The upper part of the shoe features the Tumbled grey colorway, which is covered in black accents that run from the toe of the shoes to the heel.

Putting everything together, the black accents shaped into jagged striped patterns and the overall grey upper, the shoes looks just like street pavement.

To finish the shoe off and add a bit of color, the outsole of the shoe is translucent green, as well as the inside of the shoe.

There are several logos placed on the shoes as well. Presumably, Kevin Durant's signaturee lies at the interior bottom of the sneakers. While, the initials "KD" can be seen on the tongue of the shoe and the exterior bottom of the sneakers. Lastly, to complete the look, a Nike swoosh is seen on the side of the KD 8 "Hunt's Hill Night" 2015 version.
