Basketball shoes have been very popular lately among fans, with prices ranging from around $150 upwards. Patso Dimitrove, a graphic designer from Copenhagen, Denmark, has brought some of the incredible basketball sneaker designs from Nike into the world of NFL, reports Bleacher Report.

According to The Big Lead, some of the combinations are actually quite impressive. Dimitrove was seemingly inspired by some of Nike's best designs for his NFL cleats including the Lebron 11 sneakers, the Nike Air Flight Huarache shoes, and even the Air Yeezy 2 line.

He combined the overall style of the shoes with the team colors of beloved NFL teams like the Dallas Cowboys and the Green Bay Packers.

The Danish graphic designer combined Nike's Lebron 11 shoes with the colors of the Dallas Cowboys. Shades of dark and light blue cover the shoe making it feel like it truly belongs on an Dallas Cowboys' feet.

Meanwhile the Nike Foamposite Pro shoe was matched up with the colors of the Pittsburgh Steelers, which is predominantly black with a touch of gold here and there.

The next shoe Dimitrove worked on was inspired by the New York Giants. The shoe is an NFL version of the Nike Air More Uptempo sneaker. The San Francisco 49ers get their own specially designed shoe as well, made after Nike's Kobe 10 sneakers.

Probably one of the best designs among the NFL cleats was inspired by the Washington Redskins, which is predominantly red and fades into a nice gold-yellow color at the heel. The Redskins shoe was designed after the Nike KD 7 Elite shoe.

Last but not the least is a shoe for the Green Bay Packers, designed after the Nike Air Flight Huarache. It is probably the simplest of all Dimitrove's designs, but has its own appeal nonetheless.

There is also a cleat version of the Nike Air Yeezy 2 shoe, Red October. The shoe is red from toe to heal, including the soles.

While the basketball shoes turned NFL cleats do look good, there is a question of functionality with the sneakers Dimitrove designed. After all, Nike is known for coming out with shoes that combine aesthetics with playability.

If made into reality, some of Dimitrove's designs might not be the best for actually playing football. They may just be something good to look at and wear.

There are some designs, however, that have a high chance of making it to reality—if Nike wishes. The one designed for the Washington Redskins and inspired by the KD 7 Elite, in particular, would make a perfectly good pair of cleats.

If Nike is ever to consider designing cleats with the same creativity as its basketball sneakers, the sportswear company might make even more money. See some of the designs below or see the whole collection of Nike-inspired NFL cleats on Behance.net.
