Singer Bobby Brown opened up over his loss of daughter Bobbi Kristina. The 22-year-old died on July 26 after she was found unconscious by her longtime partner, Nick Gordon, in her home earlier this year on Jan. 31. Bobbi Kristina was put under a comma and then onto hospice care in June before she passed away. The Mirror reports that Bobbi Kristina is buried next to Houston at Fairview Cemetery in New Jersey.

"We prayed and hoped for six months, you know, for something better to happen," Brown said in an interview on "The Real," according to the report by the New York Daily News. "But when God calls you, he calls you."

Brown also mentioned his ex-wife Whitney Houston who is the mother of Bobbi Kristina.

"I'm pretty sure her mother ... had a part with like, 'come on, let's get her up here.'" Brown explained. "The best way possible because (Whitney) ... was not comfortable by herself, I guess. You know, she just called my daughter with her."

The emotional interview was Brown's first appearance on television since the passing of his daughter. Brown was also joined by his wife Alicia Etheredge-Brown, who recently gave birth to a new baby girl, E! Online reports.

Nick Gordon has remained a suspect as he is alleged to have been involved with Bobbi Kristina's bathtub drowning. According to the Inquisitr, Gordon was accused of money laundering and manipulation, physical assault, giving Bobbi Kristina a "toxic cocktail" and staging the bathtub incident. In defense, Gordon's legal team filed to have the lawsuit dismissed as "several false criminal and frivolous claims" against him.

Gordon has apparently released his accounts of what happened on the night when Bobbi Kristina was found in her bathtub. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Gordon confirmed that they have been arguing and fighting, that he has given Bobbi Kristina a CPR, and that he denies the allegations against him over the incident. Furthermore, the website alleged that Bobbi Kristina was seeing another man and that she fought with Gordon over the surveillance footage that apparently showed her with another gentleman's company.

"Defendant admits that the parties went out on the night in question, that he reviewed video footage and then had an argument with Ms. Brown and that he then changed clothes. Defendant denies the remaining allegations... Defendant admits that he tried to 'wake up' Ms. Brown and attempted to get her to react and that he performed CPR on her," Gordon's filing published on the website stated.
