With so many questions floating around regarding what will happen to Loki in the next Thor installment, it appears that even Tom Hiddleston is unaware of what will become of the favorite trickster god. When we last saw Loki in the film "Thor: The Dark World", he was disguised as Odin and looking triumphant while sitting on the throne of Asgard but where will that lead him?

Coming Soon writes that they were able to catch up with Hiddleston during a "Crimson Peak" junket. The star shares that he might not be able to help if and when he plays Loki again. The actor shares he doesn't want to lose Loki's dimension because he is such an interesting character to play.

Cinema Blend adds that it could just be a Marvel strategy not to tell Hiddleston about the real Loki story because he might be asked and accidentally reveal it in future interviews. For one, it seems impossible for Thor to be in the works without Loki, as he is one of the most popular characters in the Marvel universe. And there's the cliffhanger in "Thor: The Dark World" and "The Avengers: Age of Ultron"; it would be unfair to leave fans hanging, not knowing as to what has happened to Asgard now that Loki has the throne.

A possible twist in the story can be how Loki will end up being a supporting character to prevent another villain, a.k.a. Thanos, from winning. If fans will dissect the last scene from Thor, he was on a mission to get more information on the Infinity Stones and Tesseract, a possible reason why Mad Titan might visit Asgard, hinting a possible chaos in the making.

Another reason why it's an impossibility for Loki not to return is based on Comic Book's in-depth analysis of the the Tom Hiddleston interview. The site shares that not only did the actor said the word "IF" twice, he could just be simply being coy, because Loki definitely needs to appear in the third movie for the plot and story to workout.

Furthermore, Hiddleston states that he has been talking to Chris Hemsworth, the actor playing Thor, about the changes in the characters, just like how they've changed in the past five years. The actor said, "It’s five years ago since I played him for the first time. That’s a long time ago. So who knows what I’ll be cooking up!"

Besides, a Thor movie without Loki is just like eating a peanut butter & jelly sandwich without the jelly - it will lack the oomph fans love about the story, basically because in the comic books, "Thor: Ragnarok" is the apocalyptic event Loki himself sets. It will be ridiculous to see a story unfold without one of the main characters in it.

Well, of course every question will be answered once "Thor: Ragnarok" debuts on November 3, 2017 in all movie theaters, but as fans need to know everything before the movie is shown, Loki's return is still a big, omnipresent uncertainty in everyone's mind.
