Scientists have broken the world record for making the tightest knot ever. The microscopic circular triple helix they made uses a chain of 192 atoms. The knot has a width which is only two millionths of a millimeter. A human hair is over 200,000 times wider than this knot.
The most complex and tighest knot hs been discovered by scientists. Named as Octofoil Knot, the knot is made up to 20nm long strand of 192 atoms length crossing over each other eight times.
