A new research unveils that pregnant mothers who usually eat junk food can have healthy children with good food.
The NIA researchers have found that adult rhesus monkeys who ate 30 per cent less food lived longer and faced fewer instances of cancer, heart diseases, and insulin resistance. Male monkeys lived two years longer while female monkeys lived six years longer. A similar caloric restriction regimen in humans could translate to live longer for 18 years.
