The Cassini spacecraft sent an image of Saturn's natural satellite Mimas. On examination, the image resembles that of the fictional planet destroyer of Star Wars fame, 'Death Star.' Mimas has a barren landscape and no atmosphere. The closest flyby done by Cassini was 5900 miles from Mimas.
Saturn is based on a ring system and it consists of nine continuous main rings and three discontinuous arcs, and 62 moons are known to orbit Saturn in which 53 are officially named.
Look towards the eastern horizon and you'll see a planetary conjunction that will last until the end of the week.
