Most people think that celebrities have the best diet programs because they all look so beautiful with their perfect skin and physical structure that do not seem to have any traces of fat. What some people don't know is they are just like anybody else.
They eat the same type of food and do the same exercise routine. There are also those celebrities who give so much attention to their diet and choose to live a healthy vegan lifestyle.
Some of these celebrities will surprise many people with their commitment in choosing this kind of lifestyle.
Brad Pitt
According to Longevity Live, the Hollywood hunk is one of the most famous vegan celebrities and he is proud of it. He is a long time animal rights activist and has lived with vegan diet for years. His wife, the famous Angelina Jolie, tried to follow her husband's unconventional diet but soon gave up thereafter. It seems like the couple does not always agree on everything.
Alicia Silverstone
The "Clueless" actress is widely known as the face of the animal rights group PETA. The former teen star will turn 40 this year but she definitely does not look her age. Silverstone credits her beautiful skin and healthy physique to her vegan diet.
Natalie Portman
The "Black Swan" actress has been a vegetarian since she was a kid. She adapted the vegan lifestyle in 2009 after realizing how agricultural animals are being treated in farms. Portman does her own vegan cooking and she makes sure she always eats the most scrumptious vegan dish every day.
"When I'm hungry, I eat, and I always make sure I'm eating something delicious. I'm tough on myself in terms of the standards I want to live up to, but that's also part of my pleasure: knowing you are being your fullest self. Being your fullest self is a lot of work," she said.
Ellen DeGeneres
The talk show host started to go on all plant-based diet in 2008 and started her own website a couple of years after to encourage people not to eat animal meat products.
Kristen Bell
The Huffington Post, the 37-year-old actress has been a vegetarian since she was a child.
"I had a lot of quirks as a child. One was that I didn't like to eat meat: I didn't like to chew it, didn't like the taste or smell of it, and just wasn't having any of it. I was in the minority of kids who actually loved fruits and vegetables," Bell said.
The "Frozen" actress is also a long-time animal rights activist.
