People Who Wake Up Late Are More Intelligent, Happy And Creative, Proves Study

People who often hit the snooze button or wake up late are usually termed as lazy. Even many people believe that getting those extra ten minutes every morning might disturb your body cycle. But science has a good news and there is nothing to worry as a latest study shows that people who hit the snooze button tend to have better I.Q. than others. That's not all, the study also shows that such people are also creative and tend to be happier.
According to The Independent, studies show that those who hit snooze button have better and higher intelligence than the others. Also, they tend to be happy and extremely creative. A British study "Why night owls are more intelligent" has linked snoozing the alarm with creativity, independent spirit and intelligence.
As per Daily Mail Online, the authors of the study, Kaja Perina as well as Satoshi Kanazawa also confirmed the claim. According to them modern people are far better adapted to sleeping and living like the ancestors and can follow the same pattern of sleeping early and waking up early. As per the authors this is a perfect sign of higher intelligence compared to what the study proves. In simple words, it takes a smart person to snooze the button since it is a very modern invention which evolution hasn't done anything to prepare the human beings for.
There is another correlation to the study that says that if people listen to their body needs and not follow the rules of the clock, they are likely to pursue their passion and find solutions to their problems. This makes the people creative and independent than the rest. Coming to the being happy concept, another study conducted by the University of Southhampton studied the social and economic patterns of about 1229 women and men along with the sleeping pattern. The people termed as "owls" (those who slept after 11pm and woke up after 8am) had better income and a better lifestyle. Nonetheless, this kept them satisfied and happy compared to others.
