Jessica Simpson has been the subject of ridicule and bad jokes ever since she has gained weight during her pregnancy with her first child back in 2012. Things didn’t get better the following year because, instead of losing weight, she her body grew even bigger with another pregnancy, and public criticisms hit the star once again.
However, her detractors might just need to take their words back as the "Duke of Hazards" star recently flaunted her new sexy body on Instagram captioned, “Vacation Vibes.”
Wearing an all-white, one-piece swimsuit and chunky, ankle-strapped high heels, Jessica Simpson is a vision of confidence and happiness, and appears to be in perfect shape. ET Online writes that the star has recently celebrated her 35th birthday in St. Barths with her family and friends, complete with chartered airplanes, butlers on hand, and giant yachts for starters.
But the biggest question is, how did Jessica Simpson manage to lose 70 lbs after having two kids? Celebrity Health and Fitness dished on her secrets and said that the star credits low-carb diet and yoga for helping her achieve the "best shape of her life."
According to the magazine, Jessica’s diet consists of protein and greens, like chicken, salmon, fresh vegetables and a lot of salads. She limits her sugar and avoids processed foods all the time.
In addition to her diet, the star also works out on a daily basis with her trainer, Harley Pasternak. The trainer shared that before Jessica’s wedding to former NFL star Eric Johnson in 2014, she is already on yoga and walking for six miles. Pasternak told People Magazine that it's mostly a combination workout which includes cardio exercise, resistance training and flexibility moves.
Jessica has confessed that she has been depressed during the years when her body weight was the center of scrutiny of the media and the public. Fox News has written that it could have been worst if the star’s husband has not been so supportive.
Fortunately, her fans are also there to support her every step of the way. Jessica has told Forbes Magazine that during the time she was struggling with weight, her clothing line has been, ironically, the most successful. She has stated that it was probably because women can relate to her weight struggles and has looked up to her for support.
