"Glee" star Lea Michele is one of the hottest young actresses in Hollywood today. And even if the show is no longer around, teenagers still want to be just like her.
Michele, who is always in great shape, knows exactly how to do the proper workout and diet to be able to achieve the kind of body she has now. Although she is naturally slender, the young actress wants to make sure her body remains the same all the time.
Michele is not as tall as other celebrities but, because of her figure, she is able to wear clothes that would make her look taller.
Pop Work Outs shared that Michele eats vegan food at home. When she is not on the road, she has all the time in the world to prepare for a recipe; however, when she starts to hit the road, all she eats are vegetables.
Because she stays active all the time, Michele is always looking for great foods that give her the energy to maintain her exercise routine and she loves to drink wine to help her diet. What's amazing is she does not follow a strict diet.
The star shared a few of her secrets why she is able to maintain healthy during an interview with Women's Health Mag.
"I just live a very active life, and no matter what, if can just go for a nice hike or if I can have a little glass of wine and eat good food, that's always my best medicine," says Michele, who also writes books about life. "I go back and forth between hiking and hot yoga. Hot yoga is my absolute favorite. I started in New York doing Bikram yoga with Jonathan Groff and now I love the studios out here [in L.A.] and I do it all the time. I'm really obsessed."
Michele mentioned that fellow "Scream Queens" actress Emma Roberts introduced her to Pilates and she got hooked to that workout routine right away.
Pilates workouts are being done by other celebrities because it is such a wonderful method to get great abs.
Hot yoga is Michele's ultimate favorite workout. She calls it as "the greatest combination of meditation, detox and a fantastic workout." She also credits her dance moves to her yoga participations; it has certainly made her feel lighter and agile. Michele is said to have the stamina and energy to dance for hours and not complain about it.
